If a Tree Falls in the Woods

May 2, 2008 by Sean Nelson

does it make a sound?  I don’t know, but when  Scott Allen at LinkedIntelligence posted that he was stepping back from posting on a consistent basis about LinkedIn, there was a clear sound.  It was the sound of gasps from those of us who have come to rely on his perspective, advice, stories, and humor in regard to LinkedIn.  There are others who have blogs about LinkedIn, yours truly included, but there was just something about his blog that hit home.

You can keep up with Scott via his Virtual Handshake blog where he will still periodically post about LinkedIn (but on a variety of other topics as well), and through whatever launches around his new book The Emergence of the Relationship Economy.

Scott’s built up a dedicated audience and it would be nice to see the site consider putting together a team of bloggers to contribute.  It’s tough writing content on a consistent basis while keeping up with the job that pays the bills.

The good news is that even though Scott  will not be adding new posts (actually his site says that he plans a few more posts), the existing content will remain online as a resource to folks looking for information and perspective concerning LinkedIn.

Good luck and we’ll leave the light on.

Look for more posts by Scott at his other blog Virtual Handshake blog.
