Tara,

Each person or company needs to spend time experimenting with Twitter to see what works for them and helps meet their goals. For me Twitter is a great research tool but also a great way to share content.

For a restaurant client of mine a great way to communicate offers and events, but to also listen to see what the conversations were about them. I detail one of there success stories in Social Media, Cheesecake, and Paying Attention: $5.99 to Create a Fanatic

For other clients its been generating a lead or sale through a tweet driving people first to content such as a video or blog.

Thanks for the comment.

Hi Sean, this is a great example of how a business can use Twitter to connect to its consumers and create a sense of community. Thank you for sharing it. However, I'm going to venture that the majority of us B2B (business to business) owners out there are still trying to understand how Twitter can really be an effective business tool. Clients ask us all the time about whether or not they should spend marketing time/resources on Twitter. Do you have any B2B success stories to share? Thanks!
