I have not tried this but it looks interesting. Read the article at: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/8101/how-to-import-contacts-to-gmail-from-facebook/

Then if successful import your new contact list into LinkedIn. If it works come back and post a review of the process.

I am new to Linked in, I just created an account on Linked in and was wondering if you could search automatically the people you are friends with on Facebook to people who are on LinkedIn. Thanks for all your help in advance.!

The quickest way to find those looking for the next opportunity is to join groups that are for job seekers. You should be able to find several in the groups directory by searching various keywords. You could also do a people search on keywords such as “new opportunity), “seeking employment”, etc.
