Good video Sean. It’s a shame “you” had to lead the discussion, but I’ve found that often happens when the interviewer hasn’t done his/her homework before the interview. None-the-less, good video. Good list of do’s for newbies to LinkedIn.

    William,

I thought Brent actually did a good job. The format was designed really for me to give my five to thrive, so really wasn’t a traditional interview. At some point I may go back and do a more traditional interview.

The most important part is the filming, lighting, etc. and Brent has a cool space.

    Great interview, Sean!

  4. Brent says:

Thanks Sean, it was great having you as a guest and hope to see you back out soon!

William, Thanks for the input. I intentionally try and move fast and place the focus on the guest and their expertise in their industry. That being said I don’t want to come across as having a lack of a base knowledge of my guests, perhaps something I can improve on and work back into the format.

    Brent

  5. Sean says:

    Thanks Marleen.

  6. Sean says:

Keep doing what you’re doing. Putting the focus on the guest isn’t a bad thing.

  7. Brent says:

    Thanks Sean…

When I first started doing the shows there was much more banter. I questioned how much people truly cared about all that and have since leaned down. I think they they want some frame of reference of who they are about to get advice from. Word is now we may open up the gates a little and look for people to create their own show on ThriveAMERICA.
